Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Calver ("the app") handles information on iPhone. The app is published by MuffinFluffin. Bundle ID: com.Chronic.Calver.
Summary
Calver does not require an account. Files you import, create, edit, extract, compress, or receive stay in the app sandbox unless you share or export them. If you have not purchased Remove Ads, Google AdMob may collect data to show and measure ads. Purchases are handled by Apple.
Data we collect directly
- Files you choose. The app reads files you import, open, edit, extract, compress, receive, or export. These files stay on your device unless you share them.
- Local transfer data. Nearby transfer uses local network and Bluetooth discovery to send files between your devices.
- Settings and history. App preferences, local transfer name, and file operation history are stored on your device.
- Photos you save. If you tap Save to Photos on a preview, the app writes that file to your photo library with your permission.
- Diagnostics on device. Crash and trace logs may be written locally for debugging. We do not upload these logs automatically.
We do not operate a login server and we do not ask for your name or email inside the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Free users may see banner, app open, and rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. Third parties, including Google, may collect, share, and use data for personalized advertising and measurement as a result of ad serving in the app.
Google and its partners may collect and use data including:
- Device identifiers such as IDFA when you allow tracking on iOS
- Advertising data, such as ads you have seen
- Product interaction data, such as taps and ad views
- Performance data, such as app launch time and energy usage
- Coarse location estimated from IP address
- Crash and diagnostic data related to the ads SDK
Google may use this data to deliver and measure ads, limit ad frequency, and improve advertising performance. Some of this data may be linked to your device and, for device identifiers, used for tracking across other companies' apps and sites as described in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and your iOS settings.
Remove Ads purchase stops new ad requests after the purchase is active.
